Welcome to SafePaste (the "Application"). This application is developed and operated by CITE TRAINING (PRIVATE) LIMITED ("we," "us," or "our"). To provide a highly secure environment, this document establishes a single, comprehensive legally binding agreement comprising our Privacy Policy (Section A) and Terms & Conditions (Section B).

By downloading, installing, or utilizing SafePaste, you explicitly agree to the practices and terms outlined within this combined agreement. If you do not agree, please uninstall and cease usage of the Application immediately.

SECTION A: PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy describes our practices regarding user data, privacy protections, and our compliance with the Google Play Developer Program Policies.

1. Absolute Privacy & Local Sandbox Isolation

SafePaste is architected as a 100% offline, privacy-first utility tool.

Zero Network Permissions: The Application completely omits the android.permission.INTERNET manifest string. At an operating system level, it is physically impossible for the Application to transmit, leak, upload, or share any data off your device.

No Cloud Collections: We do not maintain remote servers, databases, or cloud infrastructures to harvest your information.

2. Information Ingestion and Processing

The Application accesses data strictly through direct, conscious user initiation. The Application does not intercept or track data in the background.

Clipboard & Sharesheet Text: When you tap "Analyze Clipboard," choose "Share to SafePaste" from the Android Sharesheet, or tap the custom Quick Settings Tile, the selected plain text enters the app's secure local sandbox.

On-Device Artificial Intelligence (Google Gemini Nano): All processing for Personally Identifiable Information (PII) redaction and smart-tagging is handled exclusively on-device using the system-managed Google ML Kit GenAI framework connected to Android’s built-in AICore service.

Hardware Sensors: Supplementary local utilities (such as environmental level trackers, decibel estimators, or storage counters) interact briefly with local physical sensors (accelerometer, gyroscope, microphone volatile buffers, or file system metadata). This data is processed instantaneously in short-lived memory and is never recorded, saved, or uploaded.

3. Encryption & Local Data Storage

Any text snippet you intentionally choose to save to your local history log is stored in an encrypted SQLite configuration via Jetpack Room and SQLCipher.

The database file is fully encrypted at rest using cryptographic keys derived straight from Android’s hardware-backed Keystore system.

Access to this local archive is fully guarded via native Android BiometricPrompt layers (fingerprint/face validation) to prevent unauthorized local device viewing.

4. Data Sharing and Third-Party Disclosures

Because the Application lacks network capabilities, no data is shared, sold, rented, or distributed to third parties, advertising networks, or analytics providers.

5. Google Play Data Safety Compliance

For the purpose of the mandatory Google Play Data Safety Declaration, the Application reports "No Data Collected" and "No Data Shared". All text inputs, system parameters, and files remain within the boundary of user-controlled ephemeral or local on-device storage.

6. User Rights, Account Deletion, and Data Retention

No Account Creation: The Application does not use accounts, profiles, or identity credentials.

Data Erasure: Because all data stays on your phone, you retain full ownership and control over it. You can instantly wipe your entire history vault by clicking "Clear Logs" inside the Application settings, or by executing a standard Android system data wipe ("Clear Storage" via OS settings).

App Uninstallation: Uninstalling SafePaste instantly deletes all local encrypted databases from your device permanently.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Application does not intentionally collect or have access to any data, making it compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and international age-safety guidelines. It is safe for use by individuals of 18 and old.

SECTION B: TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions govern your legal relationship with CITE TRAINING (PRIVATE) LIMITED regarding the use of the SafePaste Application.

1. License Grant

CITE TRAINING (PRIVATE) LIMITED grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited right to download, install, and use the Application on a compatible Android device strictly for personal, non-commercial productivity purposes.

2. Restrictions of Use

You explicitly agree that you will not:

Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Application.

Modify, adapt, improve, or create derivative works based upon the Application.

Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international laws or regulations while interacting with the Application.

Utilize the Application to deliberately obscure illegal data, malware, or malicious payloads.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

The Application, including its interface designs, icons, underlying system prompts, branding assets, custom layouts, and functional code implementations, is the exclusive intellectual property of CITE TRAINING (PRIVATE) LIMITED. This agreement does not transfer any ownership rights to you.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED TO YOU ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. CITE TRAINING (PRIVATE) LIMITED DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE ON-DEVICE TEXT FILTERING, PII REDACTION, OR SENSOR TOOLS WILL BE 100% FAULTLESS, COMPLETELY ACCURATE, OR ERROR-FREE FOR ALL VARIATIONS OF ALPHANUMERIC STRINGS. THE REDACTION LAYER SHOULD BE USED AS A PRIVACY UTILITY, AND USER DISCRETION IS ADVISED BEFORE PUBLIC DATA TRANSMISSIONS.

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL CITE TRAINING (PRIVATE) LIMITED BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APPLICATION, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, DEVICE COMPILATION ERRORS, OR SYSTEM HARDWARE INCOMPATIBILITY, EVEN IF ADVISTED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

6. Termination

This combined agreement is effective until terminated by either you or us. Your rights under this agreement will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any terms listed herein. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Application and delete all copies from your device.
